Three Easy Ways to Grow Radishes in Raised Beds

In this video we show you three easy ways to start your radish seed and grow them to maturity in raised beds.

If you are looking for an easy to care for vegetable that you can grow from seed to harvest in no time at all, then look no further than the simple radish. The radish plant produces an edible root vegetable that can be enjoyed raw, pickled or cooked in many dishes. Whether you are a beginner grower looking to develop your green finger, or if you are an experienced grower, it is hoped that this video will offer some interesting tips for you to grow the crunchiest and most flavoursome of radishes. As radishes are a root vegetable, it is of utmost importance that root growth and development be allowed to continue undisturbed from germination to harvest. In this video we are going to take a look at three methods of growing radishes: sowing directly from seed, and sowing into decomposable coir pots and then transplanting, and sowing into plastic trays and then transplanting.
